Thank goodness that the Britain's Got Talent judges were kept nice and warm during their auditions.
The first ever outdoors audition really
heated up the talent competition as a diving team set themselves on fire for Simon Cowell's entertainment.
Britain's Got Talent temporarily moved outside on a cold Thursday afternoon in Cardiff, a diving team called La Quebrada High Diving Productions Ltd. did their best to get through to the next stage.
The fall guy: A man set himself on fire as his diving team tried to impress the judges on Britain's Got Talent on Thursday
Death defying: The man was part of a group of divers called La Quebrada High Diving Productions Ltd
La Quebrada, which consists of eight divers, warmed up by putting on a high diving show before reaching the dramatic climax.
The act culminated in a dangerous stunt whereby one of the team climbed a high tower, set himself on fire and leapt into the tank.
Ready to go: The diver stood on a high platform before being set on fire by his team mate
Hell and fire: The BGT audition was temporarily moved outside to accommodate the dangerous act
A leap of faith: The diver jumped off the high platform and headed down to the water
A source said: 'The divers were so brave. It was freezing cold but they never let it get to them. The crowd were buzzing with excitement.'
Two of the diving team, Peter Waterfield and Blake Aldridge, had been in Team GB with boy about town Tom Daley, but did they do enough to win over the judges?
Time to cool off: The dangerous act culminated in the diver hitting the water while still on fire
Making a splash: The judges got a great view of the act from a raised platform outside
Great timing: The diver seemed relieved to be swimming in the tank full of cold water
Didn't they do well: The diving team seemed to impress the judges after the act, but did they do enough?
Earlier this week the former Mis-teeq singer showed off her toned legs and arms in a slashed-to-the-thigh black skirt and black polo neck sleeveless top as she arrived at the Cardiff auditions.
The 34-year-old completed her outfit with a pair of peep-toe heels, a chunky Aqua belt and Gina Stewart Cox earrings, with her hair styled poker straight.
The thigh's the limit! Alesha Dixon made sure she made an impact as she arrived at the Britain's Got Talent auditions in a daring thigh-slashed dress
Ahead of her arrival at the Millennium Centre, Alesha had been enjoying some Twitter banter with David.
After one of the auditionees complained it was freezing waiting for the judges to arrive, David replied: 'I will be there first. The other judges all take about 10 hours in make-up.'
Alesha then replied: '2 actually.'
Hello Cardiff! Alesha looked glad to be back on the panel after making her debut last year
The comedian had also been teasing Simon ahead of the auditions, referring to their fictional gay romance, which he started joking about on last year's series.
He tweeted last night: '@SimonCowell I checked into the hotel in Cardiff for BGT, they have given us a lovely room. Just running you a bath...'
The happy couple reunited! David Walliams joked about his 'lover' Simon Cowell on Twitter
